Taught from diverse cultural and professional
backgrounds, ballet technique for dancers of today
embodies the historic as well as current evolution
of ballet technique. This class is a supportive
and complementary skill set for various dance
genres. It offers access to increased range of
motion, refinement, control, accuracy, dynamic
range - augmenting the ability to cover space, all
while encouraging space for the unique needs of
the individual dancer. While building strength and
stamina, dancers are asked to investigate a
holistic approach to ballet technique in an effort
to prevent injury and inspire an ongoing
conversation with the ever changing body.
