Description
This course, taught by Graduate Teaching
Assistants, provides an experiential introduction
to techniques of Contemporary Dance. No prior
experience in dance is required. These courses are
primarily rooted in but not limited to Western
concert dance and focus on momentum and weight,
clarity of line, functional alignment, musicality
and rhythm, and physical sequencing. This course
is open to the institute; please register for the
correct corresponding section for undergrad and
graduate students (001 is for undergraduate
students and 500 is for graduate students).
