Making Collaborative Dance Films

In Dance Film Projects students will propose,
workshop and shoot their own dance film projects
using the rest of the students in class as their
filmmaking team. Choreographers will learn the
dynamics and hierarchies of film shoots and have a
taste of each of the positions that are required
in a film set throughout the semester. In
collaboration with the rest of the class, each
student will create their own film work while
experiencing many different ways of approaching
filmmaking and dance on screen.
