Dance Production Technology: Video

This course is the Video Production section for
Dance Production Technology. BFA1 students can
choose either this class or Theatrical Production
for the Fall semester.

This class is a semester-long introduction and
overview of video production techniques for dance
projects at CalArts. Topics covered include camera
operation, live sound capture, video editing, and
lighting for video recording. Project management
and inter-department collaboration will be also be
discussed. Lectures will include practical
demonstrations of the techniques discussed.
