Description
This course is a semester long introduction into
the respective technologies and methods used to
support dance production. The students will learn a basic understanding for design elements like lighting, sound and operating as a crew. Focusing on job descriptions of each crew member, and understanding how to communicate with crew and designers.
The students will also work with video elements for filming live production to understand cameras, lighting, recording, and editing.
Students will also be required to crew a main stage Dance show. Half of the class crewing in the Fall Semester, the other half crewing in the Spring Semester.
This course is required for BFA1 Dance School
