Description
Required for MFA1 Dance students, both sections
and both semesters. While the first section is
exclusive to MFA1 Choreography students.
Creation + Critique provides a laboratory for
choreographic and body-based scenographic
projects, an opportunity for cross-genre
collaboration, and a forum for receiving and
giving in-depth critique. The goals of this course
are to mentor choreographic and body-based
projects and to develop skills in the areas of
critique with discourse and rhetoric specific to
questions of creation: choreography, dramaturgy,
directing, interpretation, and performance
