Hip Hop/Street Composition

Open to Dance and Music School Students only. In this course students will examine their foundational understanding of Hip Hop/Street dance and how it translates into choreographic practice and development. By viewing and discussing a variety of readings, films, and videos from notable choreographers students will create dances of their own inspired by prompts specific to Hip Hop/Street dance and culture.
