Graduate Topics in Performance Studies
Special Topics courses taught by Osterweis will
augment the curriculum with courses that meet the
immediate needs and interests of current CalArts
students across the institute. They will contain
3 different content and allow for diversity in
the curriculum. Open to the institute, these
courses will focus on the politics of the body,
from dance to activism to performance, paying
close attention to race, gender, sexuality, and
class. Specific semeter-long courses will be
described in individual course catalogue
materials.
