Introduction to Psychology.
This course is designed to give students an
understanding and appreciation of the scientific
approach to human behavior, thought and action,
and to provide the basic conceptual framework for
studying the cognitive, emotional, and social
aspects of human activity. This course will look
at the many different areas of psychology such as
biological, learning, cognitive, sociocultural
and psychodynamic theories. In addition we will
look at the science of psychology and how it
affects our day-to-day lives.
