Screenwriting Workshop

In developing, outlining and executing their own,
original screenplays, students will learn the
fundamental principles of screenwriting,
screenplay structure, and the primary rules of
storytelling. Over the course of the class
students will write a summary of a screenplay, a
two-page beat outline, develop the first ten pages
of their screenplay, revise and finalize the first
thirty pages of their screenplay. This is a
workshop class, so students will be reading and
responding to one another's screenplays.
