Description
This one to two-week course is taught by the MA
Aesthetics and Politics program's Theorist in
Residence and covers a key issue in
aesthetico-political thought. Students are
required to attend public lectures by the
Theorist in Residence either at CalArts or
downtown, and other events related to the
residency. Course requirements include intensive
reading and a final course paper. Previous
theorists in Residence: Judith Butler, Fred
Moten, John Mullarkey, Erin Manning and Brian
Massumi.
