Description
This class will look at light as a concept, and
explore its intimate involvement with the
photographic medium. We will work through ideas of
light and darkness, in their framing culturally,
socially, historically, theoretically, and within
the production of images through lens-based
mediums. this class will function as a seminar,
critique, and technical production class as we
will do in-class work with the concepts explored,
incorporating the use of light in relationship to
image-making.
