Description
What does it mean to exist between, with the
understanding that something is about to be. This
course will explore cultural, societal and
political spaces of shifting. We will look at
contemporary artists, with a focus on lens based
practices, situated within: borderlands,
estuaries, spaces of meeting and becoming. We will
also explore cultural experiences of shape
shifting, code switching, hybridity and ideas
around existing between worlds. Working between
geopolitical and existential spaces asking what is
the potential and imagination we are capable in
this moment.
