This course combines lectures, discussions,
lighting workshops, and other technical
demonstrations to give students hands-on
experience creating portraits in-studio and
on-location. We will talk about photography as
both a commercial practice and artistic medium
while considering the ways in which portraiture,
specifically, intersects with the history of
photography as fine art.
