Using a hybrid of high and low tech approaches we
will focus on the base material of photography:
light. That which gives shape and is shaped, both
signal and signifier. This workshop will focus on
practical solutions and alternative
implementations of lighting, culling from a
history of photography, painting, filmmaking,
scientific & special FX imaging.
