Description
In this advanced editorial design course students
will work on developing a single print publication
over the entire semester. The course will cover
all aspects of editorial design from conception,
content development, design direction, typography
and layout, extended design systems, and pre-press
production techniques.
Students are responsible for making, developing
and collecting content and shaping it through
design into a highly-considered and
fully-developed prototype/mock-up. The process
mirrors that used in the creation of professional
book/magazine design.
