Required for BFA2 students in Graphic Design.
Course open to BFA2 Graphic Design students only.
Second semester in two semester sequence. An
introduction to the fundamentals of typography.
Projects explore type terms and anatomy, classic
and contemporary typography, and formal systems
for composition and layout projects investigate
expression and meaning-making using typographic
form.
