Description
This class will be a laboratory of the quotidien.
Everyday crumbs swept together hastily. Small
irresolute gestures, form on the move. Every
session; a reading, a screening, and some words
that deal with dailiness, alienation, time,
process, history, change, observation, and
difference. We will help each other see what we
make anew. You will bring one work (object, text,
installation, performance, whatever) starting the
second week, and bring that same work back every
week "changed." Change for us is broad. It can be
a material, observable change, or it can be a
shift in your disposition toward your thing. We
will observe and make meaning of those changes
together.
