Description
BFA seminar style class with topics chosen by
enrolled students that are relevant to their own
practices.
As young artists learn of the many approaches or
models they may choose to base their practices
on, it is both liberating and intimidating at the
same time. Questions and puzzles are inevitable.
There will be no predetermined topics or issues
devised by the instructor. Questions will be
collected from students and put in a structure
that encourages exploration, research, and
independent thinking. Students are expected to be
self-motivated and willing to generate content
for discussion. Informal lectures, visual aids,
student presentations, and field trips will be
facilitated by the instructor.
