Description
Friends Playing is a studio-seminar course in
which we will look at friendship and play as two
necessary components of a future yet to be
imagined or narrativized. Wherever we look we see
private property and individuals navigating the
world alone with their things and their goals. We
see folks prioritizing individualized notions of
progress while abandoning friends and play.
Through the act of playing and some light study
around the historical and economic relations at
play in play, we will create together ways of
getting toward new freedoms. Bring your friends,
make new ones, we are here prioritizing what may
actually get us somewhere.
