Description

From Cacophony Society to Burning Man to Meow Wolf, from Tamara to video games to Sleep No More, from Fefu and her Friends to The Stranger Things Experience, this course tracks and explores the origins of immersive and experiential work. Investigating immersive work through the lenses of theater, dance, installation art, live action games, and themed entertainment, student understanding of the evolution of forms, techniques, and approaches will expand and evolve through research, writing, and dialogue with guest artists active in the immersive and experiential fields. Students from all disciplines and practices are welcome.
