Open to BFA3 Acting students, this Spring semester course expands each actor's personal speech practice and deepens the integration of speech technique with acting. The curriculum enriches the actor's connection to language embodiment through research, imagination, and exploration of multiple new physiological speech actions within the vocal tract. Students apply these discoveries in three modules of immersive accent and dialect work, developing a comprehensive, expressive, and transformative approach to Speech as a vital tool for performance.
