Description
Contemporary Vocal Ensemble (CVE) is a chamber
choir committed to "exploring and expanding ways
of writing for choir, singing in choir, and
listening to music for choir" (crossingchoir.org).
CVE's programs focus on works composed within the
last 50 years that engage with themes related to
social, environmental, and political issues. In
particular, CVE will spotlight choral music by
CalArts students and faculty. Audition required.
