FS - Fall & Spring

This is a half semester introductory course, in which students will engage in and learn basic skills to introduce sound elements to their projects. Discussions, lectures, and in class exercises will revolve around topics such as: basic sound design principles, field and studio recording, sound editing, and mixing. Through this course, students will be able to create a complete soundscape on their own as well as gather insight on how to communicate with sound crew members in an efficient manner.
