Graduate Seminar: Contemporary Topics in
Photography and Media
This reading and discussion seminar will offer a
survey of current discussions within the field of
photo- and media-based practices. Considering the
shifting roles of our mediums within our current
political and cultural landscape, we will start
with an initial range of texts, and then build a
reading list for the semester that we help to
lead each other through. Students will be
expected to read and participate in class
discussions.
