Description
This workshop is for incoming students within the
School of Art. The workshop is intensive on
learning how to approach intaglio printing using
copper metal. Takach Press will be utilized for
the printing process. We will explore additive
processes like aquatinting, Chine-collé and À la
poupée. We will focus on T-bar registration,
paper, and ink additives. There is a $50 course
fee, which provides most materials needed to
fulfill requirements, however students should be
prepared to potentially purchase additional
materials if their proposed project requires it. A
$50 lab deposit is also required for use of the
lab within and outside of class time.
