Not Obvious Self Portraiture

This course combines lighting workshops, lectures, discussions, and critiques to help students develop a conceptually driven project that expands the definition of self-portraiture within an artistic practice. In addition to traditional portraiture, we will consider the genres of landscape and still-life photography as forms of self-portraiture that negotiate representation and visibility.
